Discount prices

Show automatic discounts as strike-through prices on product, collection and search pages.

The Discount prices page shows your store’s automatic discounts on the storefront as a strike-through price and a discount label, on product, collection and search pages.

Turn it on

1. Open Discount prices

   Open Discount prices in the app navigation.

2. Enable the theme embed

   Turn on the CB Strikethrough Prices app embed in your theme. Shoppers only see the prices while the embed is on, and the page shows whether it is on or off.

3. Sync your discounts

   Start a sync so the app calculates discounted prices for your products. Progress appears under In progress.

For the product page price itself, add the CB Product Page Price block. See Theme blocks.

Banners you may see

Banner	Meaning
Sync recommended	Your discounts have never been shown, or have changed since the last sync. Click Sync all discounts
Collection and search pages are catching up	Product cards there show regular prices until the next full sync; product pages are already up to date
Collection and search pages can’t show discount prices	You have more discounted products than those pages can handle; product pages still show discount prices. Narrow which products your discounts apply to
CB Strikethrough Prices is off in your theme	Turn the app embed on so shoppers see the prices
Storefront prices are turned off	Discounts still apply at checkout, but shoppers don’t see discounted prices. Sync to turn them back on

Only automatic discounts are shown as strike-through prices. Discounts that need a code are not, because the shopper may never enter one.
